The S31 is the touch-interface version of Emmoco’s automatic handheld strapping tool range, built for 13–16 mm PET or PP strap. Where the Q31 is button-only, the S31 adds a touchscreen alongside the button and offers three operating modes: fully automatic (AUT), semi-automatic (SEM), and manual (MAN). This makes it the better choice for operators who strap mixed loads or need to adjust tension settings quickly between jobs.

Tension range is 400–4,000 N — wider than the Q31 — giving finer control over strap tension for light or delicate products through to dense cartons. Welding time is 1.1–1.4 seconds. At 3.55 kg (body only), it’s slightly heavier than the Q31 but still well within comfortable single-hand use. Two batteries and a charger are included; up to 700 loops per charge.
